There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls.

‘I heard it in the wind last night
It sounded like applause
Chilly now
End of summer
No more shiny hot nights
It was just the arbutus rustling
And the bumping of the logs
And the moon swept down black water

Home Run Jan! Home run.
ReplyDeleteYou know I like the window screen as a backtexture. Ain't it cool?
Making me want to participate. Why should you have all the fun?
Absolutely stunning work.
Bill a home run?? really?? again i am basking in your positive-and hopefully gut-response
ReplyDeletebtw, that isn't screen-although looks it--it is the rough side of masonite-panelling to be precise-you'd appreciate that i know--i also want to start working with wax/plaster-next it will be cement and peanut butter taffy paper
Okay, I love these!! I'm going to have to look around for the encaustic classes around here. You have made a delicious impression and I love the moonscapes! Amazing! What a beautiful surrender, Jan.
ReplyDeleteKatherine just hop on that big boat of yours and sail over-would love to share the fun -!
ReplyDeleteI liked the first one, I loved the second one; the third, well, it's growing on me :)
