This ongoing series will open up new ideas and fresh ways of seeing.

 Exploration in varying influences and techniques are emphasized and you will be encouraged to experiment with colour pallet, brush work and paint application.

We will work from direct observation as well as learn how to use reference materials so your paintings look fresh and vital-not copied. Choose your preferred subject matter i.e.  landscape, abstract or still life. 

Participants are responsible for their own materials. A list can be recommended by contacting the instructor.

If you are new to art making this is an opportunity to engage in a nurturing, encouraging and FUN environment. You will learn to develop and hone techniques including observation, composition, value, colour, brushwork and paint handling. For practising artists, this is an opportunity to examine new ideas, approach individual goals, and push beyond your comfort level.
